I came across this video on You tube, and it made me realize just how privileged we at Tawk2me have been, to have been able to work with such inspirational people over the past year.
We worked with Riaan Manser when he took on his latest chalenge in partnering with Dan Skinstad, who has mild cerebral palsy, the two paddled 2300km in five months in a double kayak to circumnavigate Iceland.An epic feat that challenged both Riaan and Dan in very different ways…yet, the end result was the same. Both men came away with a new understanding and appreciation for the other and, once again, an greater appreciation for the gifts we have been given, that we far to often take for granted
We are currently working with David Grier, who is busy with an epic, gruelling 4 000km running adventure through India.
In his latest extreme running challenge David is on a mission to complete his run through India to raise money for Operation Smile, the beneficiary of the Cipla’s “Miles for Smiles”.
Both men, used what we all have…their able bodies..to help others less fortunate.
